Image 1 : A patient with a high lip line and a gummy smile. There was a lack of a complete seal of the lips. The upper lip had less definition and appeared bulky due to bony ledges underneath.

Image 2: The patient's lip was repositioned and brought down slightly to show less gum. The bulky area of the upper lip was reduced and the bony ledges were removed.
